Muse

You’re more than a muse,
You started my creativity flowing,
It’s like your touch re-lit my fuse.

Your touch is an inspiration,
Your voice brings me away,
Your smile shows my world a vacation.

Life was brought into my veins,
hope was brought into my soul,
Freedom was brought to my heart’s chains.

Sickness

I’m not a sickness,
I’m not something to be avoided,
Ignoring me won’t make me care less.

I can show you what mu heart can give,
I’ll patch you back together,
I will show you how our hearts can live.

The only sickness is us apart,
The only medication is bringing us together,
Let me show you a fresh start.

Sparks

Give my one more chance,
Let me show you what my love can do,
My heart won’t let me stop this stance.

These feelings continue to grow,
My heart has a mind of it’s own,
My brain is trying to stop it though.

The spark was there,
I know you felt it too,
My body and heart know what we share.

Let me love you,
I can show you what love can be,
We can see what these hearts can do.

Give my one more chance,
Let me show you what my love can do,
My heart won’t let me stop this stance.

Heart

How can a heart so full be so empty,
How can a heart loose love and gain it together,
How does a heart heal when the pain from that split is too hefty.

When does that heart decide enough is enough,
When does that heart decide pain is not love,
When does that heart decide it shouldn’t have to be so tough.

The heart’s emptying leaves room to be filled by another,
The heart loss of one love leads to the new one,
The heart’s chance of healing becomes hard to discover.

Sometimes the pain just becomes too much,
Sometimes the heart decides it’s time to heal,
Sometimes when love is easy it’s better to clutch.

Ending

No one tells you what to do after happily ever after,
What happens when the new king and queen fall apart,
When they’re looking back on a life, wondering who was dafter.

What do you do after the fairy tale ends,
When the fairy godmothers are gone,
When the unwavering love bends.

What happens when love at first sight,
Becomes only blurred vision and lies,
And you’ve forgotten what you saw though try as you might.

Where do you turn when their presence doesn’t cause the butterflies,
When your racing heart isn’t the same,
When the prince is the result of all the lies.

The princess looses her prince,
All while the airy tall ending falls to pieces,
And your world has been crashing ever since.

The tales of a broken ending,
More common than the fairy tales,
All the ups and downs begin blending.

The happily ever afters all come to an end,
An ending more painful than ever foreseen,
But only when accepted can your heart begin to mend.

No one tells you what to do after happily even after,
What happens when the new king and queen fall apart,
When they’re looking back on life wondering who was dafter.

Caged

The caged bird doesn’t sing because it remains in it’s cage,
The caged bird sings because it’s freedom is so close,
The open skies always visible.

Through the windows of its cage,
The open world so close by,
The caged bird doesn’t know it’s cage confines.

It dreams of what it sees, it’s freedom through those bars,
Those skies feel so close, the caged bird can only sing,
The caged bird does not know the cage is it’s only home,

The caged bird does not know its wings will never reach the sky,
The caged doesn’t sing because it remains in it’s cage,
The caged bird sings because its freedom is so close.
