Cosmos

You were brought to me for a reason,
One that currently remains unknown.

The connection is in our souls,
Bypassing our bodies, hearts, and minds.

We couldn’t stop the pull if we tried,
Trying would be the universe’s biggest crime.

You’re the safety net in my cosmos,
The safe place for my mind.

You’re the one who saved me,
When my world shattered apart.

My mind tells my heart,
This will cause it’s destruction.

My heart tells my mind,
You’re soul is what they’re needing.

Logic can’t beat love,
Love can’t beat a connection of souls.
